Next you'll want to choose a fabric. This depends a lot on the preferences of the child you're designing for. Some like softer fabrics while others want something crisper. Take the climate into account as well. In an area where you have warm summers and mild winters, you won't have to worry about this as much. However, in a place that's hot or cool year round, you'll want to plan for this in your bedding. Use thick, insulating fabrics like wool and flannel where it remains cold all year. In warm climates, satin and cotton are good.
